Whether you are a first time or seasoned visitor, Renishaw Hall is a truly beautiful place to visit.

Renishaw has been in my family for nearly 400 years and generations of Sitwells have made their mark on the architecture, gardens and wider estate which comprise Renishaw and so much of what you see on your visit. I hope you will thoroughly enjoy your time at Renishaw now it is under my care and still very much a family home.

Opening Times & Prices

When to visit

The Gardens & Cafe are open

*Please be aware, Renishaw Hall & Gardens has postponed opening on Wednesday 18th March due to the current situation surrounding coronavirus. Please refer to the homepage for further information*

Once the open season begins, the gardens will be open Wednesday to Sunday & on bank holidays until 27th September: 10:30am to 4:30pm (last entry to the gardens at 4pm. Hall tours on Friday at 1pm & 2:30pm)


The Visitor Centre, The Café at Renishaw Hall and some of the on site businesses are also open during these hours.

Charges during main season:

Adults £8.00
Concessions £7.00 (over 60 or students)
Children £3.50 (under 5’s free)
Family Pass £10 1 Adult & 3 children
Family Pass £15 2 Adults & 3 Children

Free entry for RHS & HHA members with valid card shown on entry. Derbyshire Gold card 2 for 1 entry.

Guided Tours of the Hall

Renishaw Hall is still a lived-in family home and so the Hall can only be accessed by guided tour.

During the main season, the Hall is open for public tours on Fridays and also weekends in August. Hall tours take place at 1pm and 2.30pm on Fridays, advance booking is advised. Please call the visitor centre on 01246 432310 or email enquiries@renishaw-hall.co.uk to book your tour.


Group tours of the hall are available most days throughout the year – by appointment – we can accommodate groups of up to 60 people


The price of the Hall tour includes museum and gardens entry. (RHS members £6.50 for a tour with free gardens and museum entry)

NB. There is no access to the hall without a guided tour.
