To ensure the safety of our staff & visitors we have put the following measures in place:
All customers are advised to book online through our new online booking system. https://www.renishaw-hall.co.uk/garden-entry/ We will only allow walk in bookings if the session has not reached capacity through the online bookings.
Your contact details will be kept for track and trace for 21 days from your visit. If you haven’t booked you will be required to give contact details for each individual on entry for track and trace.
We have changed the entry to our gardens, we are giving you an hour window to arrive in. Once checked in you may stay until closing at 4.30pm. We have a one way system for entry and exit of the gardens, during your visit you may leave the gardens and re enter following the one way system. You are able to access the café and toilets at any time during your visit.
We are limiting the number of people into the gardens, allowing 60 people to enter per hour.
We have set up a one-way entry route and exit route for the gardens. Once in the gardens you can enjoy them as you wish, taking care on any narrow paths or at concealed entrances. Due to the change in exit route to the gardens if you require our accessible route for the gardens please contact the office ahead of your visit so we can assist you.
Sanitiser is provided at the entry and exit of the gardens.
We will only be accepting card payments at this time, contactless where possible. The Visitor Centre will remain closed with payment taken behind a screen through the window. All products are available to purchase through the window or from the kiosk serving takeaway food and drink.
The Cafe is operating in the courtyard with outdoor seating only. We are not taking table bookings as we felt the fairest system was a first come first served basis. Please sanitize on entry and exit.
Staff are cleaning the chairs and tables between customers. Signs stating clean and ready for use or awaiting cleaning are clearly visible on the tables.
Staff have been provided with PPE to wear to ensure customer safety when serving.
All food and drink are being served in disposable packaging to reduce touch points and help eliminate transfer. Our packaging is compostable where possible to minimize impact on the environment.
Service is table service only, payment by card, contactless where possible.
You will be asked to provide your details for track and trace, which will be kept for 21 days after your visit. Please scan the QR code if you have the NHS Track and Trace app or provide your details to your server. All individuals in a party are now required to give their details unless they are under 16. Refusal to provide your details may mean we are unable to serve you.
We have enhanced our cleaning routines in our kitchen and service areas.
Hall & Museum
We have taken the decision to keep the Hall & Museum closed at the moment, we will keep reviewing the guidance and reopen when we feel it is safe to do so.
