The Gardens are currently closed for 2021, however we do open Wednesday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays throughout the main season from 10.30am – 4.30pm (March to November).
Online booking is advised for entry to the gardens, however if there is space, we can permit and take payment on the day (card payment only).

Lavatories and baby changing facilities are located next to The Cafe and at The Visitor Centre, just outside the Garden entrance (we do have Disabled Toilets accessible)
A Wheelchair accessible route and map is available at the Visitor Centre. We offer wheelchair and motorised scooter hire, please ask in the Visitor Centre for more information.
Dogs are welcome in the gardens on leads, please clear up after them. Drinking water for dogs is available by the Visitor Centre and in the courtyard.
Some paths and routes in the gardens are uneven, so please ensure care is taken when walking around the site. There is a picnic area adjacent to the Visitor Centre, but no picnics in the garden please.
All children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Climbing on the sculptures and other built structures is not permitted.
Photography is welcome in the grounds, but not inside the Museum or inside the Hall.
RHS, HHA, CPRE and Derbyshire Gold Card holders are welcome, please present a valid card on entry to receive discounts.
The museum closes at 4.30pm please note that the grounds close at 5.00pm.
