A warm welcome to Renishaw Hall and Gardens.

Whether you are a first time or seasoned visitor, Renishaw Hall is a truly beautiful place to visit.

Renishaw has been in my family for nearly 400 years and generations of Sitwells have made their mark on the architecture, gardens and wider estate which comprise Renishaw and so much of what you see on your visit. I hope you will thoroughly enjoy your time at Renishaw now it is under my care and still very much a family home.

We look forward to seeing you!

RHS Chatsworth Show Garden to come to Renishaw Hall

Award winning designer Lee Bestall – whose business Bestall & Co is based in the Stables Courtyard at Renishaw – is the designer of the Experience Peak District & Derbyshire Garden at RHS Chatsworth; one of a series of new show gardens that will be visited by tens of thousands of visitors between 7 and 11 June.

The garden, which has been inspired by the gardens and landscape of Renishaw within which Lee works, will be transported to Renishaw Hall & Gardens after the show and be installed in the grounds there, offering an exciting new area to Renishaw’s own award-winning gardens.

The show garden space will be accessible to visitors from the 21 June, Lee will be holding tours about the garden on 2nd, 7th & 13th September at 1pm.

Lee says: “The show garden was inspired by the great houses and gardens of Derbyshire, one of which is Renishaw Hall.  I was particularly inspired by the various features at Renishaw such as the haha, parkland view and tightly mown lawns which run through the long grass areas, as well as the perfectly manicured Italianate borders which are neatly bordered with metal edging”.

Call the Visitor Centre on 01246 432310 for more information or to book places on the tours.
